Novaris SDD DINsafe Surge Diverters offer powerful performance at domestic MSB and industrial DBs. The SDD diverters are housed in DIN compliant, failsafe metal enclosures and are fully compliant to global standards and wiring rules. The point-of-entry range include the SDN range. These use MULTIMOV all mode high energy surge diverters for point of entry protection at main switchboards, especially where N-PE protection is required. MULTIMOV surge diverters feature a parallel redundant arrangement of high energy metal oxide varistors (MOVs), thus promoting long life and exceptional surge handling capacity.
Main Switchboard (MSB) Surge Protection Uses MULTIMOV all mode high energy surge diverters for point of entry protection at main switchboards, especially where N-PE protection is required. The MULTIMOV surge diverters feature a parallel redundant arrangement of high energy metal oxide varistors (MOVs), thus promoting long life and exceptional surge handling capacity. In the event of a varistor failure the remaining segments continue to provide protection. Active display via LED, Indicate segment status and indicates normal operation when all LEDs are brightly lit. A dim LED phase segment indicates the failure of an external backup fuse and this will activate the external alarm. An extinguished LED indicates a component failure or thermal overload, also activating the external alarm. Novaris power protection products are housed in safe, all metal enclosures. In the event of a prolonged over voltage they will not catch fire or explode.
DOWNLOAD CATALOGUE INSTALLATION GUIDEThe range of our NOVARIS diverters are DIN compliant. These SDD Surge Diverters provide for distribution boards or for point of entry protection in small industrial and domestic applications. Two layers of surge protection devices greatly improve the performance and reliability of the surge protection system. All Mode Protection : Protection is provided for all combinations of lines ensuring the maximum level of protection is achieved at all times. Thermal Sensing: Sustained over-voltages can cause components to over heat and degrade. Thermal sensing warns of this condition without disconnecting the protection. The LED display indicates phase status and normal operation when all LEDs are lit. An extinguished LED indicates a component failure or thermal overload, also initiating the optional external alarm. Safe Novaris power protection products are housed in safe, all metal enclosures. In the event of a prolonged overvoltage they will not catch fire or explode
